People often tell you to keep your eyes and ears open for terrorism, but what should you look for? CAT Eyes answers that question without using race or religion.
The CAT Eyes program teaches individuals about the indicators of terrorism and how to report suspicious activites. Trianing covers four main points:
- An overview of terrorism
- What to look for
- How to detect terrorist activities and tools of support cells
- How to properly report suspicious activities
- How to survive an attack from a Weapon of Mass Destruction
- Easy to follow rules of thumb for survival after a chemical, biological, nuclear, radiological, or explosive (CBRNE) attack.
We have trained over 1,200 Law Enforcement Agencies throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Indiana and Washington D.C. The Boston PD as well as the US Park Police have used CAT Eyes to train Employees working around the US Capitol.
CAT Eyes has appeared on local and national television programs, including Inside Edition. We have been in local newspapers, and in The New York Times. In addition, CAT Eyes had a two page spread in an issue of The Police Chief, the official magazine of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
The Community Anti-Terrorism Training Institute has been endorsed by the Arab-American Institute, among other national and local law enforcement agencies.
Using the CAT Eyes Program, the Pittsburgh’s Mayor’s office has trained over 6,000 citizens and 3,000 city employees.
